[...] The selection of the Team and matchups for the Grand final against Seaford had after the almost innumerable times we played them over the last years and the 3 wins ( for all intents and purposes) that we had had this year had made this a case of “all the usual suspects’, so after shellacking Seaford to the tune of 39 points in the 2nd Semi it was expected that Bugs wouldn’t be making many changes to a successful side. This was on the proviso of course that Benny Poole beat the 3 week rap for “striking” the League tribunal had imposed on him. At the Appeal however, the Panel saw reason, and the 3 weeks suspension was reduced to a reprimand and thus Pooly was free to play and the team selected was unchanged from that that won the 2nd Semi Final….for the side hit the Link [...]
