Grand Final Replay

Well its Official !! After the Dogs turned over The Tigers to the tune of 15pts on Sunday the stage is set for Mather’s Marvels to stage a four peat of wins in next Sundays Under 18 Grand Final

In what will be a replay of last years Grand Final in which we went down by 12 pts against the wind after leading by 25 pts at 3/4Q time..

Since that devastating debacle the Marvels have beaten the Puppies 7.11.53 to 6.2.38 at home, 10.12.72 to 10.5.65 away and 14.19.103 to 12.10 82 in the 2nd Semi.. Both sides have had great years with only a third round loss to Eady upsetting our clean slate and the only losses breaking the Puppies unbroken run being the three defeats we inflicted.. The game therefore promises to be the Under 18 match of the decade with two well matched sides meeting for the fourth time this year and with it all to play for..

Our prior victories will mean nothing in the GF however as it will be a whole new ball game with the Puppies desperate to turn the tables in the big one and they wont be taking any prisoners so The Marvels must go in focused and switched on for what promises to be the battle of the year..

Make sure all you Stonecat supporters and Senior players get down to the Frankston Oval to support the boys in their attack on the flag and make up for the pathetic turnout for their great 2nd Semi win !!!!
