Kenters Kolts Kanter to Flag
6 September Kenter Kolts v Kanines at Dolphin Park.. Sunny Beautiful Day

Kenters Kolts most deserved MPNFL Peninsula Colts Under 18 Premiers for 2009
Its been a long time coming for our Colts Teams, many unhappy Final and Grand Final appearances over the years without a Flag coming their way for various reasons best forgotten, but finally the Ice has been broken and Kenters Kolts have finally put history to rest and brought home our first Colts Under 18 Premiership with a masterly display of Aussie Rules Team football against Morninton Red/Black/Blue at Frankston Park on Saturday.
Starting with the aid of a strong onshore wind Mornington were unable to utalise the conditions due to YCWs strong defensive work and although they had plenty of ball in the forward 50 were unable to score a twin or single Calico and and we went to the short break 0.2.2 to 0.0.0
With the wind we applied the pressure and finally broke through with a brilliant off hands goal from Shaun Swales and notwithstanding Morningtons solid defence we were able to go to the long break in front 2.4.16 to 0.3.3.

Josh Downes had a major role in our win, here kicking goalwards
The 3rd Q saw us scoreless against the wind, but the Pups lost the game here, with some shocking kicking for goal, with 7 points brought up without a major to reduce the gap going to the Orange break 2.4.16 to 0.10.10.
The final Q saw the Fat Lady begin to warble as the boys won constantly out of the centre and with some strong forward work were able to put on 3 goals the last one coming from a great mark by the Leagues Leading Goalkicker Andy Hodge. With Mornington scoreless in the last Kenters Kolts ran out worthy 2009 Premiers 5.10.40 to 0.10.10.
It would be churlish to mention any individual in what has been a great team victory but kudos must go th Coach Kenter who has endured a miriad of cold mornings and evenings, limited onfield and off field assistance and resources, erratic fixture scheduling and a feeling of last bird on the pecking order.
To John, his boys and his little band of loyal helpers go the spoils of victory, a job well done, the Club congratulates you all on this fine achievement!!
