ABOUT

Played in the Under 18 sides of 2003/04 Coached by his father Bugs Barry which included Jai Coughlan, Chris Dunn and Glen Smith. Was a member of the 03 Grand Final side beaten by Mt Eliza and played all games on ball with the 04 side that finished on top of the ladder but was knocked out in strait sets.

Played his first senior game with the seniors in 2004 while still a junior and impressed with his speed and ball skills. In 2005 Bundy tried out with Frankston Dolphins and made their final list that year, and also 2006 when he was again coached by Bugs who had been appointed Reserves Coach that year…. Played 34 reserve games and 6 senior games over that period, either on ball or on the wing before transferring back to our club with Jai Coughlin, DarrenMizzi, Ash Beasey….and his dad… in 2007. Has had a tremendous pre-season and practice series, is super fit and showing the benefit of his AFL experience and training.

Has limitless stamina, speed, courage, focus and a will to win…Plays mainly on ball but can play either in the centre or up forward as required.. is an accurate kick and a strong mark…a Utility player in the true sense! Will take all before him in 2007…I’m excited…     Yes I said that !!

Burst on to the local football stage and shone like a beacon, playing onball in rotation  with his stamina he was unstoppable, picking up kicks at will, either staving off attacks in the backline or creating goals up forward, he was a dynamo averaging almost 20 possessions a game. Had a great H&A series polling in 10 games and a brilliant final series, particularly his BonG in the Prelim, which was enough to seal the clubs Best and Fairest award by 5 votes from runner up Jie Coghlan. …Prediction….ditto I fear for 2008 !!!
