2017 Leadership Group
STONECATS ANNOUNCE SENIOR FOOTBALL LEADERSHIP GROUP
Wayne Capp and his coaching team have selected their leadership team which has been ratified by the Committee of Management.
# 5 Jie Coghlan has been re-appointed Captain for his 4th consecutive season. 29 years of age, Jie has racked up 191 1st XVIII games and 6 premierships since debuting as a senior player whilst still Under 18 in season 2004.
Joining Jie as a Co-Captain is # 14 Kev Lylak..
Kev, another product of our juniors, made his 1st XVIII debut in 2011 and has played in each of the 5 premiership teams since. He is 24 years of age, has played 96 1st XVIII games and was Vice Captain last season.
# 27 Kyle Hutchison has been reappointed Vice Captain. This 27 year old, highly decorated player is also a product of our juniors. Kyle made his senior debut in 2008, has played in 146 1st XVIII games including 6 senior premierships.
Joining this group as Deputy Vice Captain is # 3 Scott Macleod. This very youthful 31 year old joined the Stonecats for Season 2013 and has been the epitome of match preparation and passion for the Club. “Scoota” has only missed 2 games through injury in his 4 seasons to date.
Rounding out the leadership group for this season are old hand’s # 2 Byron Barry and # 21 Jack Mazurek.
